He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew and Susan; his wife Elizabeth "Betty"; his siblings, Robert, Josephine Magotch, Mary Kmec, Helen Debusky and Theresa Holdsworth; and his niece Bernadette Kmec.

He is survived by: his children, Edward S. Magotch and Maria Reynolds (Neil); his granddaughters, Brooke and Alyssa Reynolds; and his brother Joseph Magotch. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
