He is survived by: his sister-in-law Kristine McClanahan; his wife Betsy Casillas Hernandez; his children, Siomaira Romero (Michael), Shevon Resto, Bianca Borsch (Will) and David Hernandez Jr. (Annette Malave); his mother Rosa Mercedes Hernandez; his brother Jorge Hernandez; and his sister-in-law Elsa Hernandez. He is also survived by grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
