She was predeceased by: her father John Marangio; her grandparents, Ralph and Rae Holtzman; and her father-in-law John La Pelusa. She is survived by: her daughter Gianna; her mother Adrienne Marangio; her husband Gary La Pelusa Sr.; her children, Gary Jr. (Paige), David and Jennifer; her grandsons, Noah and Nicholas La Pelusa; her sisters, Julie Gartenberg and Maria Davin; her mother-in-law Marie La Pelusa; her aunt Lois; her uncle Lou Grassi; her brother John (Ellen La Pelusa); and her godchildren, Laura, Johnny and Chris. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and many loyal friends.
Sadly, Cherie's mother, Adrienne Marangio, succumbed to complications from COVID-19 on May 3rd.
