She was predeceased by: her grandparents, August, Mattie Minzer, Frank and Jean Oley; her sister Gail P. Ernst; and her friend Ellen Riccio.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel Petersen; her children, Daniel Petersen and Kirsten Wolenski (Adam); her grandson Desmond; her brother Frank Oley (Tammy); her nieces, Brooke and Brynn; her nephew Frankie; her brother-in-law Kenny Ernst; her nieces and nephews, John, Bridget Ernst, Kevin, Cathy Ernst, Kenneth and Elizabeth Ernst; and her aunt Frances Serronico. She is also survived by cousins, great-nephews and nieces, and many dear friends.
