With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ann Downie of Bayonne, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on July 10, 2021 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ann Downie to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Hughes and James Hughes; her husband Thomas Downie, Sr.; her siblings, Mary, Gerald, Andrew and James Hughes; and her son-in-law Mark Harrington.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Downie, Jr. (Marybeth), John Downie (Jackie), Peggy Garvey, Mary Harrington and Eileen Bocchino (Tom); her brother John Hughes; and her sister-in-law Carol Hughes. She is also survived by grandchildren; her six adoring great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
