He is survived by: his children, Carol Hrychynszyn (John), Kerrie Delli Santi (Ernie) and Alfred Ponterdolph (Mara); his grandchildren, Tracy Barbossa (Dave), Jill Mahoney (Jimmy), Jennifer Trojan (Mark), Lauren Brattole, Annabelle Ponterdolph (Chase Morrin), Joseph Ponterdolph, Ernie Delli Santi Jr. (Jodi) and Monica Sabatini (Federico); his great grandchildren, Jack Trojan, Emily Trojan, Morgan Barbossa, Alyssa Barbossa, Anthony Brattole, John Brattole, Joseph Delli Santi, Dominic Sabatini, Giuseppe Sabatini, Lucio Sabatini and Romeo Sabatini; and his caregiver Donna Fahrion. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Calendar Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home (691 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ 07002). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 8:30 AM at the Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home (691 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ 07002). A Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Calendar St. Henry's Roman Catholic Church (82 W 29th St, Bayonne, NJ 07002). An entombment was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:15 AM.
