She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Klimek and Emma Klimek (Baldessari); her husband Frank Thiel, Jr.; her children, Janice Sturchio (Val), Tracey McEwan and Frank Thiel (Angelina); her grandchildren, Paul McEwan, Brian McEwan (Oriana), Valentina Chudkowski (Edwin), Jessica Sturchio, Frank Thiel and Joseph Thiel; her great grandchild Mia Chudkowski; and her brother Richard Klimek (Aiko). She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
