He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph Jr. and Alice Jorden Larkin; and his sister Amy Larkin. He is survived by: his spouse Cheryl (Pembridge); his stepchildren, Kate Kurelja (Kevin), Sarah Caldwell (Ken) and Ben Carothers (Jill); his grandchildren, Alexandra Kurelja and John Patrick Carothers; his sisters, Debby Larkin and Cathy Craven; his niece Johanna Craven; and his nephew Jim Craven (Angela).
