He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Kapferer and Julia Kapferer (Pustay); and his brothers, Fred and Richard Kapferer. He is survived by: his wife Janice L. Kapferer of Robbinsville; his son Christopher Kapferer (Catherine); his grandchildren, Caroline and Christopher of Robbinsville; his daughter Maggie Kapferer; his grandchildren, Abby and Bella of North Carolina; his son David C. Kapferer (Lori); his grandchildren, Andrew and Natalie of West Orange; his daughter Emily K. Kapferer; his grandchildren, Nora, Nolan and Mason of Robbinsville; his sister Marilyn Cunningham; and also Robert Kapferer of California.
