She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Peter Hamill and Bridget Hamill (Brennan); her husband Walter; her sons, Walter Joseph, Peter Sean and Michael Patrick; her sisters, Catherine Whatley and Ann Meyer; her daughters, Mary Kearns Gilroy (Martin) and Patricia Kearns Patterson (Chester "Buzz"); her sister Dorothy Fitzgerald; her grandchildren, Kelly, Chester, Briana, Katie and Liam; and her great grandchildren, Sabrina and Michael. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
