It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet M Rooney of Basking Ridge, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Holland (Schof) and William Holland; and her husband Richard Patrick Rooney. She is survived by: her children, Doreen (John Amorosa), John Rooney (Maria), Kevin Rooney (Peggy) and Erin (Peter Eckel); and her sister Eleanor Caruso. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
