He was predeceased by: his children, Virginia Mitschele, Mary Evans, Herbert J Mitschele III and Michael Mitschele; and his great grandchild Caleb Joseph.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Mitschele (Weber); his brother Lyle Mitschele; his sisters-in-law, Helene McGovern and Betty Weber; his children, Clinton Mitschele (Sheryl), Cheryl Eichmann (Paul), Louis Mitschele (Carol), Patricia Beaumont (Paul) and Lisa Campbell (Edward); and his brother H. J. Mitschele.
