We are sad to announce that on May 29, 2020, at the age of 89, Genevieve Joy Tierney in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, born in Montclair, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas J. Tierney; and her parents, Genevieve O'Neill Harrington and Paul C. Harrington. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Jr. of Marble Falls, TX, Richard (Bevin) of Morristown, NJ, Julie Tierney Gerke (Steve) of Basking Ridge, NJ and Elizabeth Tierney of Morris Township, NJ; her grandchildren, John Gerke (Lynne), Tara Tomaino (Marcus), Alex, Zach, Sean, Brendan, Connor and Kendall Tierney; and her great grandchild Genevieve "Genna" Gerke. She is also survived by extended family and many friends.
Funeral arrangements will be private due to the pandemic.
