She was predeceased by: her husband William Fitzgerald (Bill); her parents, Jose Slaib and Maria Julia Slaib; and her siblings, Pearl-White Slaib Fadlalla, Najime Slaib Pereira, Jamile Slaib, Laila Slaib Ferreira, Eva Slaib, Cunha Gomes and Mauricio Slaib.
She is survived by: her sisters, Mariem Slaib and Haidee Slaib Barreto Pinto; her daughter Margaret; her son-in-law Geoff; her daughter Elizabeth; her son-in-law Adelino Pujals; and her granddaughters, Hana, Heidi and Linden. She is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
