Helen Drakos Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Drakos of Barrington, New Jersey, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 3, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James N. Drakos, Sr.; and her parents, William Haburcak and Carmella Haburcak. She is survived by: her children, Terri Miller (Ken) and Jim Drakos (Kim); her grandchildren, Nicole Drakos (Brian), Michelle Drakos (Nick), Lindsay Bensel (Ralph), Steven Drakos and Stephanie Miller; her great grandchildren, Carmella of Guilianna and Christopher; and her brother Bill Haburcak. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Church (300 E Kings Hwy, Haddon Heights, NJ 08035). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (2398 Rte 70 W, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002).
