It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Barber-Bottie (Barnegat, New Jersey), who passed away on September 30, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Christine Jenkins and Roy Wilkins; and her husband Lawrence Milton Bottie. She is survived by: her sons, Russell Darnell Barber, WIllie Edward Barber, Jr. (Sandra) and Gary Lavon Barber (Gayle); her stepsons, Rob Bottie and Scott Bottie; her sisters, Edna Parker, Ada Jean Teel (Ronald) and Joyce Morrison; her stepsiblings, Curtis, Roy, Norris, Terry, Wayne Wilkins, Carol Freeman, Ann Gardner and Waltee Moore; her grandchildren, Chanda Tunisia Murphy (Elliott), Russell Darnell Barber Jr., Randy Lavon Barber, Kevin Lavon Barber, Brian Edward Barber, Chelsea Dawn Barber, Corey Hugh Anthony Barber and Clayton Alexander Barber; and her great grandchildren, Sapphire Adair Murphy, Jazmin Tunisia Murphy, Brooklyn Allyse Barber-Holt and Kairo Banks Fisher. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
