He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Hellinger (Draskins) and Charles Hellinger; his wife Rose Lois (Stober); and his siblings, Margaret Sulbowski, Virginia Romano, Dorothy Thompson, Charles and Donald.
He is survived by: his daughter Staci Shane (Paul) of Kendall Park; his granddaughter Erin; his son Jeffrey of Bayville; his granddaughters, Audrey and Rachel; and his sister Betty Leigh of Barnegat. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund may be made.
