He is survived by: his mother Kathleen Sarah Docherty (Mathers); his wife Susan; his children, Joeleen, Richard D. Docherty, Jr. (Kathleen), Kimberly N. Grogan (John), Scott P. Docherty (Jenna) and Kerry A. Casola (Tim); his children-in-law, Sandy D'Alessandro (David), Kelly Jurgensen (John) and Christy DeStefano (Nick); his grandchildren, Aiden, Ashley, Brady, Taylor, Hunter, Allanah, Bayleigh, Cayla, Roger, Nicholas, Maria, Jonathon, Liam, Hallee and Thomas; his great grandchildren, Heidi Jo and Breyson; his goddaughter Cristin Hopkins; and his brothers, Thomas W. (Diane), Robert J. (Donna), Brian F. (Kerry) and Jamie R. (Angela). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
