He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew and Caroline of Montana. He is survived by: his wife Arlene; his sons, Ralph of Montana, Matthew (Jennifer Montana) and Leon (Kelli Montana); and his brother Mario of Montana. He is also survived by grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
