He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Winton and Elsie Winton; his brothers, Howard, Frank and Elwood; his mother-in-law Lorraine A. Hyres; his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Betterley (Diane) and Marian Betterley; and his grandson Ayden Montgomery.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine A. Winton; his daughters, Theresa Montgomery (Richard), Samantha Winton, Savannah Durante (Choi), Lisa Betterley (Kevin Mitchell Jr.) and Stephanie Smith (Jim); his nephew Kenneth G. Betterley; his grandchildren, Bryce, Travis, Kaiden, Josh, Jackson, Jolee, Hunter and Justice; his siblings-in-law, John, Leonard Betterley and Diane Smith; and his sisters, Joyce, Elsie and Dawn.
