He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignatz Peregman and Anna Peregman; and his sisters, Joan Murdy, Theresa Bleemer and Maryann Makransky.

He is survived by: his wife Andrea D. Peregman; his sons, Nicholas Peregman, Joseph Peregman Jr. and Thomas Peregman; and his grandchildren, Abigail, Violet, Sadie, Christian and Addison Peregman. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
