He was predeceased by: his parents, James McAlister and Alice McAlister; his daughter Sharon Miller; and his grandson Jason Miller. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his sons, Brian McAlister (Paula) and Edward McAlister (Debbie); his grandchildren, Rory McAlister (Lisa), Jaymie Beck (Andrew) and Jesse McAlister; his great grandchildren, Jason Miller and Isabella McAlister; and his siblings, Daniel McAlister (Bonnie) and Dorothy Dare.
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (747 W Bay Ave, Barnegat, NJ 08005).
