Edward F. Johnson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2025, Edward F. Johnson (Barnegat, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Edward farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Edward is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Johnson (Walters) and Edward F. Johnson; his wife Barbara Pinto Johnson; his siblings, Barbara Conner and Stephen Johnson; his nieces, Jill Latimer and Joann Garcia; and his sister-in-law Alexis Pinto.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Barnegat Funeral Home (841 W Bay Ave, Barnegat Township, NJ 08005). A prayer will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ocean County Memorial Park.
Donations in Ed's memory may be made to Wounded Warriors or Tunnels to Towers.
