He was predeceased by: his parents, George (Eva Buckley) and Barnegat. He is survived by: his wife Milena; his stepchildren, Daniel Joseph Rooney, IV (Alea Horrocks) and Milena Rooney Jester (Adam Jester); his grandchildren, Daniel Joseph Rooney and Milena Jester; and his sisters, Anna Buckley, Marylou Peterkin (Chris) and Helene Adolphus. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Barnegat Funeral Home (841 W Bay Ave, Barnegat Township, NJ 08005). A burial was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at the Barnegat Memorial Cemetery (742 W Bay Ave, Barnegat, NJ 08005).
