With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Callahan (Barnegat, New Jersey), who passed away on April 29, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Michael J. Callahan Sr.; her parents, Louis C. Le Francis, Sr. and Bridget Le Francis (Masterson); her siblings, Maureen Madden (Le Francis), Bernadette Peslak (Le Francis) and Louis C. Le Francis; and her nieces, Michelle Fox (Le Francis) and Jeanie Le Francis.
She is survived by: her siblings, William J. Le Francis, Robert B. Le Francis and Monica Wegeler (Le Francis); her daughter Bridget M. Wallin (Carl) of Barnegat, NJ; her grandchildren, Joe, Kiera and Aiden; her daughter Maura K. Frey (Callahan) of Barnegat, NJ; her grandchildren, Sloane and Connor; her sons, Michael J. Callahan Jr. of Toms River, NJ and Sean P. Callahan of Bloomfield, NJ; and her granddaughter Minnie Pearl. She is also survived by her 17 nieces and nephews along with her four children.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association®.
