He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Burlew and Dorothy Burlew (Metz); his daughter Melissa Eckardt; his son-in-law Matthew Eckardt; and his siblings, William Burlew and Betty Shepard.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Burlew (Grey); his children, Michelle Sydlosky (Dave), John Burlew and Michael Burlew; his stepsons, Randy Rapp (Shelly) and Bruce Rapp (Priscila); his sister Nancy Okuniewicz (Albie); his grandchildren, Ashley of Alyssa, DJ, Alex, Gage, Hope, Skye, Jacob and Tyler; and his great grandchildren, Jordyn, Logan, Noel, Bryan, Emma and Lenny.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home (573 Mill Creek Rd, Manahawkin, NJ 08050). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home & Cremation Service (573 Mill Creek Rd, Manahawkin, NJ 08050).
