He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Scrabis (Zekas) and Joseph Scrabis; his brother Joe; his nephew Jes; and his sister-in-law Debbie.

He is survived by: his father-in-law Ray Auer; his stepchildren, Amy, Bobby and Kristin; and his wife Janice.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Avon First Aid and Fire Dept or Wag On Inn Pet Rescue, Oakhurst, NJ.
