It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Savarese of Avon by the Sea, New Jersey, who passed away on September 15, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Savarese to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luisa Gonzalez and Carlos Gonzalez; and her siblings, Louise, Eileen, Sylvia and Charles.
She is survived by: her husband John M. Savarese; her sister Helen Gauci; her brother-in-law Vincent Stano; her children, Carol (Stephen Restaino), John Charles (Barbara Savarese) and Glenn Di Giovanni of Avon; her grandchildren, CraigSavarese, James Savarese, Steven Savarese, Jonathan Savarese (Taylor), Rachel Larosa (Dominick), Rebecca Restaino, Elyssa Hilton (Joseph), Garrett DiGiovanni and Kenneth DiGiovanni; and her great grandchildren, Wyatt Savarese, John Larosa, Sophia Larosa, Genevieve Hilton and Lydia Hilton.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, donations are most welcome to a Memorial Fund in the name of Mary E. Savarese that has been established with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, as per her wishes, to help fulfill their mission to advance cures, and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.
