He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Louis Moran; his children, Elinore Ward, Robert, Michael (Julie), Barbara (Dan McFadden), MaryLou (John Jennings) and Matthew (Jennifer); his wife Helen Donovan (Donovan) of Bayonne; his grandchildren, Colleen, Eileen, Meghan and Michael Moran; and his children, Claire, Daniel, Owen, David McFadden (Suzanne), John Thomas, Emmett, Maggie Jennings, Shannon, Erin and Katherine Moran.
