He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Franko and Mary Franko. He is survived by: his wife Sandie; his daughter Debi; his son-in-law Michael Fradkin; his grandchildren, Sarah and Jake; his brother Ed (Barbara); and his pet Hulio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association or The American Heart Association.
