He was predeceased by: his parents, Angela Capizzi and Giacomo Capizzi. He is survived by: his children, Giacomo Capizzi of Los Angeles, CA and Angela Antonella Capizzi (Benedetto Valpa) of Matawan; his sister Carmelina; his brother-in-law Frank Caserio of Colonia; and his nieces, Gabriella Tiseo and Francesca Kotsakis of Colonia. He is also survived by five great nieces and 1 great nephew.
