She was predeceased by: her husband Manfred Menden; her granddaughter Megan McCarthy; and her siblings, Lydia Clay, Hananlaura, Geizala, Heinz Schlehuber, Zep Schlehuber and Roland Schlehuber.

She is survived by: her children, Karin Eckert (Harold) of Pittstown, NJ, Rose McCarthy (Michael) of Bayville, NJ, Hans Menden (Donna) of Toms River and Ronald Menden (Darlene) of Parlin; her sister Bridget Maly of Germany; her grandchildren, Harold, Jr., Andrea, Shannon, Kerry, Melissa, Jessica, Kayla and Ronald Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Hayden, Hope, Hudson, Michael of Luna, D. J., Hannah, Nolan, Henry, Rui and Andreana.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Costello-Koyen Funeral Home - Avenel (399 Avenel St, Avenel, NJ 07001). A prayer was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
