It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara J. McCabe of Avalon, New Jersey, born in Belmont Hills, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Sara is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her husband James P. McCabe, Sr.; her daughter Maria C. Hemsley; her siblings, Peter Godino (Elaine), Alfred Godino and Emma Trevaskis (William); and her parents, Vincenzo "James" Godino and Maria Domenica Godino.
She is survived by: her children, James P. McCabe, Jr., Matthew G. McCabe (Terri), Mark M. McCabe and Sheila A. Boornazian (Michael).
