With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie O'Brien of Avalon, New Jersey, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 1, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Heenan and Jane Heenan (Nugent); her husband Obie; her daughter Kelly Rooney (Sean); and her siblings, Col. Michael Heenan, Constance Heenan, Patricia Heenan and Sharon Galbally.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jill Mull, Kevin, Brian and Jack Heenan; and her children, Charles III, Tracy Hudash (Ron), Terry (Meg) and Erin Dugery (David). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, brother and sister in-laws, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, you may honor Mari's memory by taking your family out for waffles and bacon.
