He was predeceased by: his daughter Maria Hemsley; and his siblings, Mary Ann Quinn, Matt McCabe, Tom McCabe and Peter McCabe.
He is survived by: his wife Sara J. Godino McCabe; his children, JamesMcCabe Jr, Matthew McCabe (Terri), Mark McCabe and Sheila Boornazian (Michael); and his brother Bernie McCabe (Lynn). He is also survived by his seven grandchildren.
