She was predeceased by: her parents, John Longworth and Vera Longworth; and her siblings, Dennis Longworth and Joan Hillier. She is survived by: her sons, James "Jim" MacCarthy (June) and Sean MacCarthy; her grandchildren, Abigail and James; and her brother John "Jack" Longworth. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
