She was predeceased by: her parents, Vidal Polo and Maria Polo. She is survived by: her husband John C. Higgins; her children, Helen Stillman (Tim) and John F. Higgins (Sharon); her grandchildren, Glyn Richards (Briana), Aidan Higgins, Liam Higgins and Aislynn Higgins; her great grandchildren, Brooke and Declan Richards; and her siblings, Alfonso, Magdalena, Salvador, Fernando and Mary. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
