He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Steinmacher and Alvera Steinmacher. He is survived by: his children, Shirley Steinmacher (Robert Copenhafer) and John J. Steinmacher, Jr. (Natasha); his grandchildren, Hayden, Eliot Copenhafer, Katherine Steinmacher and Keenan Cephas; his sibling Marlyn Sterling (late John); his cousin Kathleen Garnich; and his friends, Betty Boop, Terry, Michael and John.
