She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Tunison and Alneda Tunison; her husband Harry Motley; her siblings, Edward Tunison, Jenny Butler and Dorothy Keyes; her children, Gerald Tunison, Harry Motley Jr., Kevin J. Motley, Diane R. Motley and Margaret Clark (Peggy); and her grandson Aaron B. Johnson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Juanita Agee, JoAnn Motley, Vivian Etienne, Lynda Motley and Kathy L. Dunston. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
