He was predeceased by: his wife Rhoda Ruiz; his daughter Amanda Ruiz; and his parents, Juan Ruiz and Alicia Ruiz. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie (Nicholas Cascio), Jessica Ingaglio, Alice (George Vega), John Ruiz Jr. and Raymond (Angela Ruiz); and his grandchildren, Alyssa, Christian, Sophia, Victoria, Taisha, Jennifer, Nicole and Leah. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
