She was predeceased by: her parents, Col. Howard T. Shafer and Mildred Shafer; her son Daniel; her husband Norman Sickels; and her siblings, Tom and Janet.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Robinson (Andrew) and Christopher Sickels (Christine); her sister Ann Woodward (Frank); and her siblings-in-law, David Sickels (Liz), Russ Sickels (Susie), Betsy Sickels (Kathy) and Stan Sickels (Donna). She is also survived by grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
