It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Lou Brown of Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on June 24, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Barbara Lou may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara Lou touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Elmer and Alice Elmer. She is survived by : her husband James R. Brown Sr. of Leonardo; her sons, Michael Brown and James R. Brown II; her daughters-in-law, Michelle Harker and Amy Brown; and her granddaughters, Andrea and Melanie Brown.

A graveside service was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Memorial Park (3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107).
