It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen L. Thatch of Atlantic City, New Jersey, who passed away on February 19, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Matilda L. Forrest and Timothy Forrest; her husband C. Thomas Thatch; her siblings, Arthur, Tim, Frank, Louise, Theresa, Sarette and Jean; and her nephews, Glenn Brooks and Anthony Brooks.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Sterling Forrest (Sharon), Jaurvon Johnson (Norma Jeanne), Michael Johnson (Rosetta "Frankie"), Alfonso Brooks (Billie), Frank Forrest, Jr. (Laura), Tracey Brooks (Fay), Sheila Brown-Branch (Ronald), Shawne Forrest, Pam Forrest, Josephine Miller and Deborah Miller; her close friend Brenda McCollough; and her great-niece Maria Brooks. She is also survived by grand nieces, grand nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
