She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Armecia Rodgers and Robert Rodgers; her son Michael L. Jones of Windsor, Virginia; her granddaughters, Yorell Cornelius of Las Vegas and Alysia Jones of Atlantic City; her sister-in-law Bernice Rodgers of Atlantic City; her friends, Clydie Griffin and Shelly White; and her niece Trinna Rodgers. She was also cherished by three great-grandchildren.
She donated her time and energy to other community organizations such as Caring Inc.
