He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Blanche Catherine Paige Darden and Joseph Samuel Darden, Sr.; his siblings, Joseph, Jr., Gloria, Oliver, John Paige and Eddie; his wife Jearlene Paige Jones; his children, Tanya Darden-Nelson (Earl K. Nelson, Jr.) and Julian King (Linda Bizzelle-King); his grandchildren, Niamah Jones and Brandon King; his sister Virginia Darden Jackson (Joe Jackson); and his siblings-in-law, Dr. Barbara Darden (late Joseph S. Darden, Jr.) and Jay Aubrey Jones. He was also cherished by nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
