With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Bernice Kaplan in Atlantic City, New Jersey, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles "Charlie" Theodore Kaplan; her parents, Sarah Dash and Harry Schwartz; her stepfather Jacob Dash; and her siblings, Doris Dash Magasiny and Albert Dash.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jan Cheryl Kaplan Golden (William Lawrence Golden, Jr.) and Robin Sandy Kaplan Katz (David Michael Katz); her grandchildren, Samantha Lee Goldman (Matthew Samuel Goldman) and David Kenneth Golden (Emily Bowie Golden); and her great grandchildren, Bailey Beverly Golden and Noa Brielle Goldman.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Ij Morris Funeral Home (9321 Memorial Park Rd, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33412). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at the same location.
