With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Asha Ann Woodard (Atlantic City, New Jersey), born in Bronx, New York, who passed away on November 6, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Abdul Ralason and Helen Ralason; her daughter Lisa Godwin; and her sisters, Celeste Coleman and June Brown.
She is survived by: her daughter Paula Godwin; her grandson Darryll D. A. Williams; her son-in-law Darryll "Rub" Williams; her godchildren, Tia Pridgen and Justin Davis; her nieces and nephews, Celeste Coleman II, Valerie Coleman, Michelle Brown, Derek Coleman, Carl Brown III and Christopher Brown; her stepchildren, Stephanie Woodard, Loreen Woodard and Kevin Woodard; and her close friend Valerie Williams. She is also survived by other great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
