She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Jackson and James Jackson; her daughter Veronica; her husband Charles A. Mills; her son Kevin, Sr.; her grandson Keith, Jr.; and her sisters, Barbara Anderson and Carol Dean Elliott.
She is survived by: her sons, Keith B. Mills, Sr. (Trudy) and Charles K. Mills; her daughter-in-law Elisa G. Mills of Atlantic City; her grandchildren, Kevin, Jr., Shawn, Katrice, Lauren, Krysta, Jarred and Charles; her great grandchildren, Kalimah, Charles and Mia; her siblings, James 'Billy Elliott (Celeste) and Patricia Townsend (Darryl) of Baltimore, Maryland; and her aunt Connie Griffin of Jersey City. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives, and innumerable friends.
