In the sacred silence of farewell, Renate is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Renate's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her son Michael Gibbons; and her parents, Karl Guttmann and Klara Guttmann. She is survived by: her children, Charles Self (Lori), Eddie Self (Karen), Bobby Gibbons (Kelly), Heidi DiFillippo (Marc) and Heike Miller (Robert Gibbons); and her brother Karl Guttmann (Rosemary). She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
