He was predeceased by: his stepdaughter Beth Petrakis; and his grandson Alex. He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Veilleux; his children, Joseph Veilleux, Jr., Valadene Veilleux and Daniel Veilleux; his stepchildren, Barbara Jo Bartels and Kim Bartels; his granddaughters, Megan, Amanda and Emma; and his sister Gertrude. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
